Have Students Take the Lead

One of the great takeaways from today was how to empower teachers through student innovation. So many teachers are fearful, for a variety of reasons, to embrace technology in their classrooms. There was a lot of conversation today about how to work within staff members' strengths, supporting them your physical presence or creating materials for them, and, most importantly, looking at how students can ease some of the technological burden. Having creativity and innovation be at the forefront, instead of the assignment, is a great principle to drive our teaching and learning.
