Over the past few days I've learned the principles of learning in place, incorporating real world experiences, and utilizing new technologies to create engaging lessons for my engineering class. I learned to use Freeform and Keynote to develop a two-week project for my students to construct a dam to solve a potential problem in their local neighborhood. My students will utilize engineering design principles as well as possibly visiting their local dams to experience the learning process in the actual environment they're learning about!
