4th and 5th grade students worked with the app DroneBlocks to write a code that would allow their drone to take off from a green square, fly through a hoopla hoop hung from the ceiling, and land on a red square.

The drones we were using for this lesson were Tello. I also have a set of Parrot drones but I used the Tynker app to fly them. We didn’t renew our school license this year so we haven’t been able to fly them. I didn’t know we could program them through Swift Playgrounds. I am going to try that. Thanks
Great photos that really show and capture so much learning, fun, and problem solving! This si what school should be all about! It looks like your students loved this challenge, Dustin!
