Doing More with Apple Learning Coach

Spent the first part of my summer in the Apple Learning Coach course and program. I found it extremely rewarding. I highly recommend it to my fellow ADEs to put a new dimension or spin on your ADE and teaching work. It has helped me learn more about myself as an educator and is already starting to change my practice. All before I've even started looking for coaching opportunities at my institution. Fellow ADEs, give it a look!

I agree, Alfred! Although I do not currently find myself in a formal coaching role, I am coaching students and colleagues through my teaching and sharing daily. The process and pedagogy presented in the Apple Learning Coach program have been valuable in shaping the way in which I work with others with or without technology. A great program, indeed! Plus, the projects are fun and challenge you to be creative in new ways. Everyone Can Create, right? 😁

I agree 100%! Going through the ALC program helped me build my confidence in my skills with apps that I don’t normally use (*ahem* GarageBand). We also have adapted the forms from the Coaching Library to fit our district’s needs and use them to document our coaching cycles as an iTeam.
