Maximising PL Impact: Leveraging Research and Apple Education Resources

I'm looking forward to running a Professional Learning workshop as part of the Apple Education Summit this week.

In the workshop, there will be opportunities for educators to come together, connect with others with similar experiences and share stories and thoughts on what makes for effective PL. We'll take a look at what the research says contributes to constructing an effective experiences for your participants, and look for opportunities to draw on Apple Education resources to build your toolkit for designing for the long term.

If you're planning to join, you can get a head start by downloading my book from Books. In it you'll find links to a journal and other resources, and you'll be able to use the journal to keep notes as we go through the session.

We'll be engaging in digital reflections and feedback via Mentimeter as well as doing a hands-on collaborative activity, so bring along whatever device you have to hand- and a phone will also be helpful.

I look forward to seeing you there- and please reply with questions, comments or queries if you have any!

The hands-on activity with the Elements of Effective Professional Learning Design had us discussing sphere of influence and particularly the strength in these visible within a strong school culture of learning.

Fantastic bringing the themes together with your disciplined design approach to navigating the use of AI. Look forward to sharing and learning more alongside your journey in this space.
