Teaching emerging adults how to navigate and advocate for their wellness

A new freshman seminar at UNC teaches students how to navigate the complex health care system. Using hands on learning, students are taught the language and skills needed to actively engage in their health and health care.

Communication games, virtual escape rooms, and AI-infused case scenarios help students enhance their communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and engagement skills.
