Preposition practice with Augmented Reality - How AR Makr supports Early Learners

Allowing students to take part in the learning engaging and deepens the meaning of the new content. In this activity students interact and immerse themselves within Augmented Reality to practice prepositions. Students purposefully placed themselves around augmented reality labeled shapes then described their location in a video.

The steps in completing this activity are the following:

- Create shapes and word labels on slides in Keynote and export the each slide as an image with a transparent background.

- Add the shapes and word labels to the AR Makr App and place them around the classroom.

- Screen share the AR Makr screen onto the classroom TV and ask students to read and position themselves correctly around the shapes.

- Record a video on AR Makr as students take turns describing their location in relation to the shape.
