World Creativity and Innovation Day takes flight!

I love the new resource shared as part of World Creativity and Innovation Day. 🙌

Check it out here: Design a Bird with Shapes

Download the template, and create your own bird—or flock of birds!—with Keynote! 🐦 🦢🦚

Here are a few feathered friends that I created with Keynote for iPad:

A peacock made with shapes using Keynote for iPad.

A blue bird made with shapes using Keynote for iPad.

A bird made with shapes against a light blue sky with clouds, made using Keynote for iPad.

What a fabulous flock you have created, Eoin! I love that their own personalities, especially the sassy peacock.

Thanks, Ruth! I had lots of fun with it! A peacock has got to have a lot of sass! 🦚 🙌

Love these Eoin! I think I might be able to categorize the type of bird just from the shapes in your drawings. I also can see these as fun cartoon characters that would provide interest and creativity to a story. Fine job!

Thanks, Cheryl! Yes — there are lot of ways to extend and go further with this activity! Storytelling, animation, narration, music… students could really spread their wings! 🦅
