This lesson utilizes the Keynote, Camera, Photos, and Notes app to allow students to insert themselves into a motion graphic that can be used in a comic book panel. This is a great way to help students express and breakdown a story or process into multiple parts, all while putting themselves into the action and showing off their creative drawing superpowers!

The Process

Want to have your learners add themselves into a motion comic?! Follow the stupendous steps in the action packed panels below!

Preparation is key! Find a solid backdrop and take some pictures of yourself in action poses. (You might need a sidekick or the camera timer to make this easier)

Set the scene! Create the perfect backdrop to your panels! (If you have an iPad Pro with Apple Intelligence the magic wand tool in notes is super helpful!)
