My Apple Learning Coach Journey: Empowering Educators with iPad
As an Apple Learning Coach, I had the privilege of leading the iPad for Education Excellence Series at Kolej Matrikulasi Kejuruteraan Pendang, Kedah on 29 July 2026. The workshop brought together six lecturers and eight primary school teachers, all eager to discover how Apple technology can transform teaching and learning.
One of the main goals of the session was to support participants in earning their Apple Teacher certification while exploring practical ways to integrate Apple apps into everyday classroom practice. Throughout the workshop, participants learned to create character images and stickers in Photos, annotate and highlight images, mark locations on maps using Pages, design animated GIFs and engaging presentations with Magic Move and animations in Keynote, compose simple music in GarageBand, and complete interactive workbooks in Pages.
The most rewarding part of the experience was seeing participants actively collaborate, ask questions, and confidently apply new skills during the hands-on activities. Their enthusiasm reinforced my belief that meaningful professional learning happens when educators are given opportunities to explore, create, and share ideas together.
This workshop reminded me that technology is not just about mastering digital tools—it is about empowering educators to design more engaging, creative, and student-centred learning experiences. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the professional growth of fellow educators and look forward to inspiring more teachers through future Apple professional learning sessions.
