Garageband Projects

Dear Fellow apple teachers,

After attending the apple training and BETT this week I’ve been inspired to share some of the projects I’ve been doing in music using garageband with my students. 

There are a number of projects we do throughout early secondary school:

• Students create an electronic music composition using garageband - this is usually the first project and gets them familiar with garageband https://youtu.be/bHeyna4fTks?feature=shared
• Composing for film - students choose a short film from my selection, remove the original music and compose their own. https://youtu.be/K_wxEfcAO3w?feature=shared
• Students remix popular songs from a choice of acapellas.
