Epubs. Sharing in the community

My students want to start a digital community newspaper. We’re thinking an epub would be our best option as it would be great to allow audios and videos in the final product. Unsure how to share this within the community though. If we upload to google drive then qr code it for posters which is what we were thinking, the process of opening the link on Google Drive is a little tricky for many families as it straight away says ‘unsupported file type’ and needs to be clicked through to ‘open in’ then choosing Books to open in before they can read. I feel this is too complicated for our community. Would love some other suggestions please. On platforms to create or share. Open to any ideas. Thanks

Have you thought about publishing to the Apple Bookstore? It is a free resource. I have published a few books with student work on the bookstore. Only issue is non-Apple devices, unless there is a work around that I am not aware of at this time.
