How to properly manage the iPads in my Classroom

Hello community. I am trying to manage the 14 iPads I bought for use in my 5th grade ELA/Social Studies class. What do I do? I tried applying for an Apple School Management account to no avail. Granted, my school/district uses PCs, but I'm trying to just use these in my classroom for the 4 blocks that I teach.

If you are a school then there do look into getting an Apple School Manager account again. They might have given you a reason as to why the application was not successful.

Managed devices will make the student and teacher experience so much easier

Hello KLBradley,

Thank you for your question.

If Apple School Manager (ASM) isn't available, you should consider using Apple Configurator for Mac to supervise and manage your iPads when connected over USB. This app also has the option of enrolling devices into a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution.

Take note that without ASM, devices cannot use Automated Device Enrollment or be locked to an MDM solution. Also volume purchasing from Apps and Books cannot occur without managed Apple accounts from ASM.
