I am using a Mac Air with apple M2 chip and 8 gb of memory with macos ventura installed. One day i was moving some old files into a SSD but left the ssd plugged in and next day i woke up and the mac had this flickering phantom desktop which mirrors my every action. It has flickering lines about 3mm away from the left side of my screen and it flickers about once every 3 seconds or so and stays on for about 3 seconds. It mirrors my every action and I cant get rid of it. I cleared cache, ejected the hard drive, restarted and went into safe mode. I cant install the new update as i dont haven enough storage and it takes 14 hours. I cannot capture the phantom desktop which is composed of horizontal lines that obscure about 1/6th of the bottom part of my screen and it is incredibly irritating. what should I do?
