Wellbeing: My Legacy - Using Keynote and Sketches to create visual silhouettes

A huge focus for my students this term is their transition into Middle School, setting them up with the appropriate tools and strategies for them to be successful in a new learning environment, away from a primary school setting. After a discussion surrounding positive well-being and thinking, we explored the notion of 'legacy' and what they want to be remembered for as they venture into Middle School.

To explore the functionality behind Keynote and its features, my students created a 'well-being silhouette' using the Apple 'All About Me' template (from Keynote). Some opted to design their silhouettes, others used the template. They drew their fonts and styles using their Apple Pencil on Sketches and then incorporated these words into their presentations, to ultimately create a silhouette based on their legacy.
