Sharing Memories with Keynote Instagram

I teach AP Spanish Language and Culture. One unit discussed is Identities. One activity that I did with the students was through the help of our Apple Specialist. We were able to use a template that mimicked an Instagram Profile.

The main idea behind the lesson was for students to share ten images from their past that helped them define who they are today. These images could be people, places or things that truly define their personality today.

After, students were to share with their peers or in a station rotation these memorable moments. Many students seemed to truly enjoy this activity and it felt authentic to them. It felt organic and familiar at the same time, which received positive feedback all around.

We all got to know a little more about one another, and we were working on the target language.

Attached is the template.

I love this template! This would be great for a back-to-school activity as well. Such a good way for students to share a bit about themselves.
