Take Reader’s Theater to the next level by utilizing GarageBand. Reader’s Theater is an excellent way for students to practice fluency, prosody, and accuracy. Students can create different readers by changing their own voice with the voice changer. This is a great way for students to exercise their own creativity, as well as a low pressure environment for more reserved students to participate in the activity.
Make sure to provide your students with appropriate reading level text with multiple speakers for this to be successful. Some example texts are dramas or plays, poems, short stories. Listen to my attached example.

Sometimes Voice Memos is enough for students to do a fluency recording… but your post shows how creativity can be amplified by letting students use GarageBand sometimes as well! Love the simple step guide you share as well… Bravo!
