Creativity with Sphero: Engaging with Art and Photography
STEAM education is important for our pupils to engage with, there are many STEM projects promoted but the creative element is usually missed out. As an educator passionate about the development of technology in the expressive arts classroom, I endeavoured to develop lessons that were relevant to the arts curriculum as well as developing coding and problem solving skills.
This book allows teachers to engage with coding with a focus on Art and Photography in a meaningful way. It provides lesson ideas, instruction and ways to help pupils develop their understanding of block coding.
These activities allow pupils to not only be creative but to engage them with computational thinking and problem solving. This book is a great way to bring the creative arts into your classroom and provide pupils with a new application for coding.
