Keynote Solar System

Students in 5th grade were learning about the solar system. Students were challenged to use Keynote to create a replica. Students had to research the size, rotation and angle of each planet. They then took those numbers and applied them while animating the planets.

Steps the students took:

  1. Switched the slide size to 16:9 so they had more space.
  2. Used shapes and the image fill tool to create life like planets.
  3. Added Action-Rotate/All durations set to 60 seconds.
  4. Changed the Angle
  5. Changed rotations
  6. Changed accelerations to none
  7. Set all animations to with build one
