Main Idea/Story Theme Lesson

Read aloud A Bad Case of Stripes by David Shannon

Students will be able to identify the theme of the story and discuss a class.  Individually they will create their own "bad case of stripes and the “cure” for it. 

With Keynote students will take their photo using the assistance of a placeholder and create their own Bad Case of Stripes by using shapes or drawing tool on their photo. Next, they will take a second photo and using the shapes or drawing tool present their “cure”
