Exploring Theme in Things Fall Apart

After a short unit to read and study the novel Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, grade 10 English students were asked to explore various themes, and to demonstrate their understanding by producing a digital poster depicting one of the novel's themes. Students chose their favorite app on their iPads, with most choosing Keynote or Canva. They had to write the theme statement, and support it with relevant quotes from the novel and images of their choosing.
