School Podcasting - Reaching the community
A group of Year 6 students worked with a local community radio station in Term 1 to develop their interview skills and how to design, record and publish recording content. Students are now applying these skills in our school, and have created our own school podcast - 'The Bertram BUZZ' which can be found on Apple Podcast and Spotify!
To ease into our journey, students use the core information from the fortnightly school newsletter, provided by the leadership team, and re-wrote the information in their own words with some additional conversation starters.
This has provided a new way for families and community members to find out what is happening in and around the school, and are able to follow our channel to stay up to date with current events.
