And if you have them jumping in front of a ruler or some sort of measures on a wall they could be able to see how high they can jump using only the photo app. Great idea!

Using Live Photos to capture body movements in Science
My students in Year 4 are currently exploring the human body and their skeletons in Science. Today they carried out an independent investigation to see how the lengths of a particular body part in different students affected a movement like jumping, running or throwing.
They used the Bounce setting in the Live Photo function to capture a movement from their experiment so that they could review how each student jumped, ran or threw to consider whether it was a fair test in their conclusion.
