I appreciate the pivot you made here around the presentation vs creating a learning object that shows what students know and how they think.

I used to use PowerPoint for students to make presentations and present and they are boring
The title says a lot. Remember the days of tri-fold boards and note cards, perspiring underclassmen standing in front of the class poorly reading note cards to an un-wanting audience. This week we worked with our apple trainer on keynote and specifically creating narrated keynote presentations exporting them as 90 second movies. Kids were less worried and products were much better. Students narrated their slides and were able to re-do their audio until they were comfortable. The product became 120+/- 90 second ‘movies’ that can be watched from year to year, and students can ‘see’ their presentations. They were all much better to watch and grade than the students fumbling with notecards.

I love the ability to narrate slides. This is especially great for building confidence!
Sounds like a win! Thanks for sharing about this update and how students responded!

Great way to engage students and get them talking more. Level-up.... Have them use the Live Video insert so that you can see their faces while the present or to have a camera to show specific examples. It is a great feature!
