Managed Apple IDs and apps like Drafts

Is anyone using Drafts in a managed Apple ID environment? In the past, I've been able to log in to the App Store with a non-managed ID and authenticate purchases, but Drafts seems to operate a bit differently and may be saving something to iCloud Drive.

Hi Michael,

I'm an Apple K12 System Engineer - happy to help with your question! While I can't speak to experience with this app specifically (I do see it is available to be deployed via MDM in Apple School Manager), if the app requires an in app purchase for extra functions, it will not work with a Managed Apple ID.

We often recommend reaching out to the app developer with questions like this and to inquire about licensing for education use, given the inability to make in app purchases!
