Stop Motion Using Clips

Question:

Has anyone tried using Clips for a stop motion project? What grade level did you do this with? I am hoping to try it with my second graders and would love any advice.

I have never thought of using Clips for stop motion. Its definitely doable, there just may be some extra considerations to make. The only thing I would worry about with Clips is that when they add the pictures to clips. When they click "Add to project", it will automatically drop them in with each picture playing for 3 seconds. They can add them with the "preview and record" option and only record each picture for 1 second. However, that will require them to do each picture one at a time.

I know it isn't an Apple app but we have had great success with Stop Motion Studio. It is easy to use and does the timing for them. All they have to do is take the pictures. We've used this from 2nd grade through high school.
