Before taking photos for your animation, you’ll choose a subject and get your camera set up.

Step 1

Pick an object in your classroom, at home, or outside that you want to use as your subject.

Step 2

Find a way to stabilize your iPad. For this project, you’ll want to face the iPad camera down toward your subject. Use a tripod or an iPad stand if you have one.

Tip

You can set your iPad on top of a milk crate or box with holes. Place colorful paper or fabric underneath your subject to make it stand out.
