Video guides to support learning of skills

Early in the pandemic I had to make a quick shift to work out how best to support my student teachers. Ordinarily, that daily interaction was enough to share ideas, tips and tricks, but the pandemic meant a new approach was required.

I decided to start making a series of videos that I would host on YouTube so that the students could at least see what they could do with iPad, and as I had a lot of time on my hands, a few videos turned into a lot of videos.

This not only supported my online delivery but I also thought it would potentially benefit others, so I started to share these on social media as well.

The video channel grew and has now become a resource for a range of things from getting started with apps, to creative ideas for use in the classroom.
