Mood Tracking Journal

Had a great morning session with our #LetsGoIL group focused around equity. School districts were sharing a lot of the long work they’ve been engaged in to address equity challenges and opportunities in their communities. Wonderful to hear from and collaborate with everyone. A takeaway resource I found in the “Take Action” part of the Learning Center is the mood tracking journal. Such an important element of equity work is hearing from those most impacted. This journaling tool is an amazing way for us to engage students of all ages in reflecting on how they’re feeling and a sense of belongingness. Something I’m going to pursue using more with our students, particularly our K-2 students, to help us better track what’s taking place with our youngest learners.
