For our weekly vocabulary words, I created a template in Pages for my students. They can search an image on the internet to add to their story. Then, they proceed to write a story using all of their vocabulary words.
They can also record themselves reading their stories in an audio recording which provides them practice in fluency.
We then share the Vocabulary Image Descriptions in the collaboration section of our OneNote notebooks so all can see.
