Give Voice to Ideas with Voice Memos

Voice Memos is a built in feature of both MacOS and iOS. There are so many ways we can utilise this tool in the classroom. The following recording looks at just some of the ways that our students can use Voice Memos to capture their ideas and their thinking.

The recording touches on potential for encouraging reading fluency, rehearsing speeches for feedback, capturing descriptions for creative writing and capturing interviews for research/inquiry - to name a few.

We also look at how to integrate the use of Voice Memos with other apps like Notes, Keynote and Garageband.

Voice Memos is super easy to use and a great tool to make your students aware of.

Thanks Mandy! So true - so many possibilities for voice memos. Thanks for the ideas.

Also I really appreciate all your recordings in the Community - so helpful and such clear demos on how to use the Apple Tools AND full of great educational activities. I’m bookmarking them all!
