I use Final Cut Pro and the idea for my One Best Thing (and my eBook) came from when I tried to edit a green screen video on an iPad. I knew how to edit the video using Final Cut Pro, but I couldn't figure out how to apply the green screen effect using iMovie on my iPad. I searched the internet and quickly figured out where I had to go to apply the effect in iMovie.

In this 109 page eBook, I have step-by-step instructions with screen shots on how to edit a green screen video using iMovie and Final Cut Pro on the iPad, iMovie on the iPhone, and iMovie and Final Cut Pro on the Mac. I also included a way to create a green screen like effect using Keynote using the iPad and Mac.

The last section of the book includes some tips and tricks that I use while having students create green screen videos over the past 15 years. There are links to various media files that can be used to practice editing on various devices creating the green screen effect.

Download the eBook in the Apple Book Store and try using the linked assets and have fun with green screen. I would love to hear your feedback after reading the book and look forward to hearing your stories and answering any questions you might have.

Thank you Donald, it has been something I have been thinking of doing since last year. Using green screens is an important part of my video classes.
