Create Dialogue in "Messages"

I used Keynote to create an animated Gif to capture part of a conversation two fictional characters were having for part of an activity. With Magic Move and other animation effects, this type of activity can level up the learning experience for students. The Keynote file is available for you to modify the messages and the character profile.

Updated the files to include a template with the slides in the theme & directions included.

Amanda - Thanks for the Keynote file for this engaging Messages activity for learners - lots of content applications here!

What a great project, Amanda! So many skills embedded into this, with so many opportunities to apply it in the classroom!

An interesting extension on this would be save as a video and then add to iMovie. Then either add voiceovers reading the text aloud, or add or record sound effects to simulate message notifications, typing on the keyboard, and more!

This is a fantastic lesson idea! I can see it enhancing so many subject areas. Imagine a conversation between Mozart and Beethoven or Paul McCartney and John Lennon!

In English it could be used for the "modernising" of traditional tales in Primary/Elementary schools and Shakespeare in Secondary/High School.

Thank you for Sharing!
