Light Up Pixel Art For Multiplication

I found this amazing resource in the 12 days of creativity book. I then changed it to be a pixel art for multiplication tables. This allows your students to have some free time for creation while also having to practice their math facts!

  • When students want to add a color, they have to find solve the math problem in the color they want and then add the answer to the square they want.
  • If they get the right answer, then the box changes color
  • All instructions for how to use this, how to edit it, and where I got the idea are embedded in the numbers document.

Nice Aaron! Love the re-mix and I especially like the way you “wrote it up” in Numbers. Good way to explain an idea or concept! I’m going to try your process!

What a fun idea! I would like to have my students try to create their own for other students to them try! Adding to my list to try next year when we first learning solving equations.
