Body Systems Logo Project

Looking for a creative way to review the function of the body systems? This Keynote logo project is a quick and easy way to check for student understanding of the body systems and stretch their abstract thinking abilities.

After our unit on human body systems in 7th grade science, I ask students to think creatively and make a logo to represent each body system using Keynote. The students have to focus on the function of each system- not the organs.

Students start by using a design brief that forces them to think abstractly about what colors, shapes, objects and slogans could represent each system.

Once their design briefs are completed, they make their logo using objects in keynote. Once the students are done we do a gallery walk of all the logos to see if students can guess their logo and how well it represents each body system.
