Apple Lab Posters

My school has recently opened an innovation lab for all teachers kindergarten through eighth grade to use. The lab will host a multitude of technology resources that teachers can utilize in lessons. They will bring their classes to the innovation lab for their lessons and therefore have the chance to use a wide range of technology.

The lab will have various resources, but I am most excited for the 30 iPads that will be available! In our district, only our kindergarten and first grade students receive iPads as their school devices. This innovation lab will allow grades 2 through 8 to have learning experiences through the iPad as well.

I was tasked with creating posters for the iPad technology that would be helpful in our innovation lab. I created a set of posters that will give teachers a few lesson ideas for a few of the common iPad applications. I also left space on each poster for teachers to write their own ideas using a sticky note. Additionally, I added in an "iPad Lingo" chart for students and teachers to refer to while working in the lab.

Hopefully these posters can find homes in other classrooms and learning spaces as well!

Adair,

Thanks for sharing these posters! I love how you give practical ways of using each app and also provide the open space for visitors to think of their own projects. Although I don't have an innovation space, I plan to hang them in my office space where I collaborate with teachers to plan lessons utilizing iPad with their students.

Agree with Jennifer - these are great! I also like the idea of the Innovation Lab to make sure all students have access to the iPad and technology. Super to have the posters on the wall as well as digitally so they can be accessed either way.
