Scary iMovie Trailer

Fourth and fifth-grade students explored the use of cameras to create various effects. They practiced photographing objects from different angles and perspectives, experimenting with camera settings like exposure, shadows, and definition to achieve “spooky” visuals.

Using these photos, students then created eerie iMovie trailers, with the school as the setting. They also customized the trailer text to fit their unique stories. This fun and creative project encouraged student choice, voice, and collaboration while showcasing a range of technology skills and artistic techniques.

These are marvelous! Great way to teach camera skills - and perfect for the scary season!
