Using Keynote Live for a Personal GreenScreen

In this activity, students learned to use Keynote to create their own personal greenscreen.

Title image for a Keynote of an Ancient Greek character asking the question, 'Do you know how to use Keynote Live?'

Using Keynote Live, students are able to recreate a greenscreen effect in order to record themselves but use different backgrounds such as:

  • images
  • video
  • animations

Students used this as part of their presentation on Ancient Greece.  They employed dress-up and role-play to create monologues in the setting of Ancient Greece.

Keynote Live Video is a game changer! I love how this effect can be achieved without a fancy green screen. What a great way to truly place your students in Ancient Greece.

So great to use in a history lesson - They can creatively put themselves in a historic scene and talk about what is happening. Thanks for the idea!
