Blackout Poetry Using Keynote

What is Blackout Poetry?

Let students explore some examples of blackout poetry within this Keynote file and start to craft their own. They can examine how the model poem was created step by step.  Also, this Keynote includes directions of how to create and use Markup tools. Lastly, students can upload an image of their blackout poetry to the "Digital Gallery" media placeholder slide to create a fun digital gallery walk of student work.

Such a great activity, Amanda! I’m a big fan of Blackout Poetry.

I lover the image overlay (from a book cover I think?) in your 3rd attachment!
