This Mindfulness Toolkit was created for the use of individuals, the classroom and clinicians in helping develop strategies for wellness. The easy-to-follow resources were created by Canadian ADEs @KellyJanzen (2004) and @NisreenJardaneh (2023)
The kit contains:
1. Mindful Breath: Guided meditation uses the breath for calming control of heart rate, and stress.
2. Tension & Release: Six simple exercises will aid in focus and tension management.
3. Steel Tongue Drum: This beautiful meditation instrument is easy to play, and creates an interactive environment. Learn how!
4. Mindful Journalling: Encourage empathy through reflection, curated questions and observation using photos and video.
5. Cozy Corner template & Mindfulness Worksheet: Cozy Corner is a place to retreat, reset and self-regulate. Learn what, why and how to use it? Mindfulness worksheet is self-directed activities sheet, where students can roll the dice and discover their own path.
Wellness is a lifelong goal and these activities will support everyone, at any age, in this endeavour.
