Magnificent Molas: Exploring Layers of culture

 

Joyful, Wild, and rooted in Tradition “Bear”
Students are able to learn about the history of Guna people of Panama, The history behind Molas and create digital art in Keynote Using Drawing tools inspired by this cultural tradition. Molas are traditionally made when the top layers are cut to reveal colors underneath. So we start with placing a colorful background and laying a black rectangle on top. Students are then able to erase or use drawing tools to complete their own Molas Art.
