Explore
Pupils read The Magical Forest story on their iPads and complete the interactive drag-and-drop activity by placing the correct comparative adjectives into each blank.
Explain
The teacher introduces comparative adjectives and explains the spelling rules using examples from the presentation. Pupils discuss why different adjective forms are used.
Elaborate
Using their individual iPads, pupils:
- photograph two classroom objects,
- edit the image using Photos → Markup,
- label each object,
- write two comparative sentences directly on the image.
This task allows pupils to apply grammar in a real-life context while creating a personalised learning artifact. Example as followed;
Evaluate
Pupils present their edited photos to a partner or the whole class. The teacher provides immediate feedback on grammar accuracy and sentence structure.
Penutup
By integrating storytelling with the Photos app, grammar becomes more engaging, authentic, and learner-centred. Rather than memorising rules, pupils actively create meaningful comparisons using objects from their own surroundings. This approach not only strengthens grammatical understanding but also develops creativity, communication, and digital literacy through purposeful use of technology.
