One of the questions I find myself returning to as a principal is: How do we create learning experiences that genuinely engage students? We all know that engagement is essential, but it's easy to confuse engagement with compliance.
I've found this open-access video from PD-OD to be a thoughtful reminder that true engagement is about students' thinking, not simply their behavior. It offers practical ideas that have sparked some great conversations with our staff and connects research with classroom practice in a very accessible way.
