At Apple, we believe everyone can code. Code Week, October 8 to 23, 2022, is the perfect time to give coding a try.
Students can write their first line of code or even build their first app in Swift Playgrounds on iPad or Mac. Swift Playgrounds teaches Swift through engaging lessons and sample projects — the same powerful language used to create world-class apps for the App Store.

Explore the Celebrating You Educator Guide for a great starter project to help students begin coding their first app in Swift Playgrounds. In the activity, learners will personalize a sample app that celebrates a place or tradition that’s important to them.
