Our campus recently hosted guests from another school that was visiting to learn how to use technology more effectively in the classroom. I believe their greatest take away was our use of Numbers in the classroom. When I think back, Jodie Deinhammer was the first person to show our district the flexibility and possibilities of Numbers. Our digital learning coordinator, Aaron Rogers, has continued to share ways to use Numbers to increase efficiency and engagement as well. Numbers has become the “go-to” tool for many of our teachers.
One of our favorite ways to utilize Numbers is to organize our day with the app. Some teachers create a weekly document while others prefer a Numbers a day. Either way, teachers see the benefit of putting in the time to prep their Numbers for the upcoming week. This practice leads to seamless transitions that translates to more time for teaching and learning. Teaching is more effective because our teachers internalize their lessons as they organize their content on the Numbers sheets. It is also so easy to add drawings, photos and videos to capture learning in Numbers.
If you haven’t tried teaching from Numbers, I highly encourage you to give it a try. It is a life-changing practice that will make your teaching run so smoothly. Many of our teachers can’t imagine teaching without Numbers.

A great example of how Numbers can be used to help keep us organised.
