Animated Comics/Storyboards with Keynote

I was talking with a teacher on my campus earlier this week, and she asked me what I thought the best resource for making digital storyboards would be that didn't require a subscription or extra sign in and would be easy for students to use. After a quick dive into the resources she and our campus's students already have and are familiar with, we landed on Keynote.

Using animated shapes, text, and even drawings, I drafted a quick prototype (based on my old content, 8th grade U.S. history). I then exported as a movie for quick sharing (or turning in to our LMS if I was a student).

Though the idea is simple, the power of Keynote lends itself to another level of creativity for any content area. I can't wait to see what her students come up with! #weareLCP

Keynote as an animated storyboard! Such a good idea! Thanks for the example Brisa.
