Huge thanks to Mr Ford and the whole team for bringing the Tour bus to Manchester yesterday, it was a great pleasure to attend a day of professional learning and networking with a wide cross section of the entire Apple Education Community. As always, it was an incredible experience and remarkable to see so many friendly faces once again. From start to finish, everything was well-organised and expertly executed, making for a day filled with inspiration and knowledge. The Unthink sessions with Janne & Sarah were both inspirational and thought provoking, it certainly clarified some objectives for me personally, I just wish my Head Teacher could have experienced the morning to underpin the importance of one whole team. In the afternoon it made me realise that I’m not placing enough significance on Accessibility in my school, nor am I utilising the amazing features on offer. That correction process and elevated priority began today in school and is something I shall champion as the academic year unfolds. I will develop and incorporate accessibility awareness with our entire staff to meet everyone’s educational needs with our pupils. Hope it’s not a pandemic pause 3yrs+ before we can do it again.
