If I Were President Silhouette

Why are kids’ silhouettes so cute? This adorable Keynote activity combines the cute silhouette with adorable words from our students. It’s a perfect Presidents' Day project!

When our second graders completed this project last year, they added their profile picture to the template. Then they lowered the opacity, used the fill tool to create the silhouette, and then deleted the picture. The same steps can be used, but with updates, it's even easier now.

Students can add their profile picture and use formatting to instantly remove the background. The students' profile will be the only image remaining for them to fill in. Students can add audio before exporting as a movie to share with parents as well. It would make a wonderful keepsake!

Yes! Super activity for President’s Day. C-SPAN Student Cam has a video contest each year (for older students) that often has a prompt similar to your’s eg - What would you tell Congress or what would you advocate for as President? Your activity adds a wonderful visual, cute silhouette and gets learners thinking about civic literacy and participation. Nice job!
