Silent Movie

As an Library Technology Associate, we spend a lot of time trying to find new ways for students to use their iPads in more ways than we already do (using apps that are ALREADY on our iPad). We don't realize the capabilities our iPads have until we are actually using them ourselves.

We had the opportunities to make our own silent movie using Clips, my partner and I had so much fun making this into our own. We had one idea then the rest started flowing and we ended up having so much fun and getting really into it!

This is something I would highly recommend trying with students!

Oh my gosh - you did have fun! Love the way your silent film drew me in with the words. Good acting and filming! Yes, students will really enjoy doing a Clips Silent film. I can see the potential for a lot of history story telling using old time silent film techniques. Thanks for the share!

Love the idea of a silent movie! It challenges students to consider how other elements (music, filters, etc) convey the mood and tone of the story. Great example! Thanks for sharing!
