Getting out of your comfort zone

When teaching the phases of the moon, my students used the pages app to create short stories, describing each phase of the moon and what it looked like. They showed me how they incorporated their own pics that they had screen shotted from the internet. I truly was amazed and shocked that this app that the students enjoyed, was as difficult as I thought. It also encouraged me to become more knowledgeable about this app and inquire more about what it does. Moral of the story, don’t be so hesitant to step out of your comfort zone or what you’re used to doing. Times are changing, so with that requires educators to adapt.
